Pete (The landlord) lives there also with me (Gemma) in the main bedroom. We are 26-29 year old professionals. The flat is a large 3 bedroom flat with seperate lavish kitchen and living room (8 seater sofa, mini cinema). The bathroom features a power shower, and jacuzzi bath. We have full broadband/sky packages. Our ideal housemate would be someone who has their own life as well as a sociable life at home as we love cooking and having dinner together but obviously as a couple like our own time also and would be respectful of any needs similar for our tenant. We are pretty relaxed at home, and are not a party household.
There is parking in the street outside the house, however it is either pay and display or via residential permits which are simple enough to obtain.
Nearby we have within a 5 minute walk the following: Sainsburys Supermarket (Standard Large), Tesco Metro, Primark, TK Maxx, Peacocks, Halfords, Nandos, Pizza Express, all major Banks, and a whole host of great local pubs and bars and restaurants. At the end of our street is a large park with tennis courts and an outdoor gym. We are 15 mins walk away from Finchley Road 02 Centre, which is great for the Cinema/Restaurants.
Transport in this area is one of the greatest assets, we are only 4 minutes away from Hampstead Heath on the overground, or 20 mins from Oxford Circus on the tube. 8 Minutes to Euston on the London Mainline service, or 8-12 mins to Kings Cross on the Thameslink.
Transport to West Hampstead: Thameslink, London Overground, London Mainline services, Jubilee Line and a large selection of buses.
Transport to Kilburn: Jubilee Line, Bakerloo Line, London Overground, London Mainline services and again, a large selection of buses.
Pete is a Technical Surveyor and I (Gemma) am a Restaurant Manager also studying for a degree in Music Management and Events Management at London Metropolitan University in the Business School Dept.
